"The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity."

Hello!
I've tried this blogging business before and was mildly successful until the semester started again and A & P kicked my butt. Apparently working full time and going to school was too time consuming to allow for blogging as a creative outlet. Who would have thunk it...
Now, as I sit here with 109 degrees of Las Vegas summer right outside my window, and with less than four months until the biggest event of our lives ever (the birth of our first baby!) writing down this jumble of thoughts inside my head seems like a good idea.
There are so many emotions and expectations that come with becoming a parent, but I strongly believe that it is the most important thing we will ever do. So please bare with me as I try to get my thoughts down on paper, or rather on computer... I've got so much to say and the pregnancy brain haze has already kicked in.
So here's to second chances!
